As part of the guidance curriculum focusing on contributing to the community, a research project was done on the history of significant Greene County moments and people. Students in grades 3-5 did research on Greene County and it's significant people and places. They created art to contribute to the first ever traffic box art contest. The winners were Cameron and Isaac! Their winning art features the Iris Festival and a thriving downtown scene. Look for their art on the traffic boxes located at the Lowes intersection, coming in the near future!
