GMS Athletics: Wrestling
GMS opened the season 1-1 on Monday night at Tn. Middle School.
In the first match, GMS defeated Sullivan East 49-39. Mauricio Jardinez, Monte Burch, Malley Estep, Bryson Jeffers, Dyson Roark, and Jake Henson were all winners by pin. Gage Mercer and Sophia Dishner were winners by forfeit. Brayden Rozar and Zachary Hawk were winners in exhibition matches.
In the second match of the night, GMS fell to Tn. Middle School by a score of 54-33. Gage Mercer, Sophia Dishner, Bryson Jeffers, and Alex Sanchez all won by pin. Malley Estep received a forfeit. Sawyer Robinson was the winner by decision. Brayden Rozar was the winner in an exhibition match.
GMS will be back in action at GMS against Sullivan Heights and John Sevier Middle School.
